Thuy Diem Pham

British-Vietnamese Chef, bestselling author and the architect behind Islington’s beloved, award winning restaurant, The Little Viet Kitchen.

Following the success of her widely acclaimed debut cookbook, The Little Viet Kitchen, Thuy published her second bestseller, Vietnamese Made Easy, which was well received by critics and readers alike. Her third book, One Pan Vietnam, will be published on 12th February 2026.

Alongside her food writing, Thuy works as a chef consultant to restaurants across the country, allowing her to share her passion and expertise while continuing her mission to demystify Vietnamese cuisine for a wider, nationwide audience.

Thuy's culinary legacy began at The Little Viet Kitchen, where she crafted a dining experience that blended restaurant precision and flair with the comforts of home cooking. Her unique approach to Vietnamese cuisine in the UK drew from an authentic understanding of Vietnamese culture, and a keen awareness of London's evolving food scene.

Over the years, Thuy has wowed audiences at major food festivals, made numerous TV appearances, and held residencies at prestigious 5-star hotels and resorts.

She is widely recognised as the UK's leading voice on Vietnamese cuisine and is a proud brand ambassador for Rangemaster, Gozney, and Kamado Joe. In 2024, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Business Administration for her contribution to the industry. She also serves as a judge for the Guild of Food Writers Awards, The Golden Chopsticks, Asian Cuisine Awards, and Baxter Storey’s The People Awards.

Thuy believes that best way to fully understand and appreciate a cuisine is to see it in action, or even better still, to roll your sleeves up and get involved.
